It’s only fitting that a once in a lifetime event is commemorated with a once in a lifetime release.

With 23 gold medals, Simone is the most decorated gymnast of all time, but on Valentine’s Day, 2022, she received a different type of precious metal from her now fiancé, Jonathan Owens, in the form of an engagement ring. Like Simone, Jonathan himself is a professional athlete, and their wedding day gives them a chance to embrace their softer sides after the constant need to be dialed into a fiery, competitive nature.

That same energy comes through in the design and construction of Simone’s "Something Blue" leo, as we’ve used our softest subfuse fabrics to create a white lace that is the centerpiece of the leotard. In back, the lace transitions into white mesh backstraps that lead to a white buttoned, high neck collar, which is complemented by a white pearl waistline in the front. From the waist up, the leo is sublimated with an intricate, wedding gown inspired pattern, accented on each side by Silver Hologram Spanglez™.

What makes this launch even more exclusive is the color that Simone has chosen. The Iceberg tone is used solely on this leotard and is found nowhere else in GK’s entire product line. Per the request of Simone, her wedding date has also been sublimated in Iceberg on the upper back of the leo in Roman numerals, celebrating her life’s next chapter.

When an athlete's measurement contains a partial inch, always round up to the next full inch. If an athlete's measurements fall across two sizes, order the larger size.

Sizing Illustration

  1. Chest Measurement

    Measure the chest with arms at the side. Be sure to take the measurement at the fullest part of the chest.

  2. Waist Measurement

    Measure the waist at the natural waistline which is the narrowest part of the waist. If you're having trouble locating the natural waist, have the athlete bend to the side. The natural waist is where the body bends.

  3. Hip Measurement

    Take the hip measurement at the fullest part of the buttocks with the athlete's feet together.

  4. Torso Measurement

    Take the torso measurement from the center of the shoulder, down the torso, through legs, and back to the shoulder.

  5. Inseam Measurement

    Take the leg inseam measure the athlete without shoes by running the tape from the crotch to one inch above the floor.
The goal of measuring is to determine the correct size to order for each athlete. Accurate measurements are vital to the proper fit of your athlete's apparel. Please make sure that all athletes are wearing fitted workout apparel during the measurement session.
